I attended the Richmond Gun Show this weekend and wasn’t
disappointed. The crowd was light,
mostly because it was a holiday weekend.
The vendors were none too happy about turnout but as a shopper it was
just right. The ammo tables had a good
selection as well as competitive prices (no 22 long rifle though) There were
plenty of hand guns, rifles, shot guns and knives of every size, shape and
wielding length.
Upon entering the exhibit, while I was checking in with one
of Virginia’s finest, I heard a booming voice over the intercom. It was the Bishop E W Jackson. His voice is unmistakable and his words
unforgettable.
In case you just got off Highway #95 and have no idea who E
W Jackson is, let me give you a quick primer.
E W Jackson is our Virginia nominee for Lt Governor. Bishop Jackson served in our armed forces as
a marine, he is a graduate of Harvard Law School and he is an
entrepreneur. He is a true conservative
who has enough fire in his belly to get out there and make a difference in our
communities. His passion is
unquestionable and his drive is awesome.
In his own words: “As Lieutenant Governor, I will fight for
policies that resist Washington and reign in Richmond. We must unleash the
productive and creative capacities of our people to build, grow, and prosper.
We need state leadership that will lessen the burden of government on our daily
lives. Adherence to the principles of our state and federal Constitutions is
the only way to protect the freedom of every citizen. The light of liberty
burns dim today, but we will inspire and unite people from every corner of the
Commonwealth to set freedom’s torch ablaze again. Virginians must lead the way.
God will show us the way. Let Liberty Light the way.”
Bishop Jackson is a proponent of the 9th and 10th
Amendments – to reduce the stronghold of the federal government and bring back
individual freedom. He is a staunch
support of our 2nd amendment rights.
He is also the founder of STAND Staying True to America’s National
Destiny which promotes the vision of
“One Nation Under God”.
Take a moment and visit his website Jacksonforlg.com to
learn more about him. And if you ever
have the opportunity, take time to meet the gentleman in person and get a dose
of real patriotism.
Stay tuned tomorrow and I will tell you about another great
American at the show…..
