BiGWand™ is excited to attend our first convention where
candidates who will represent the Republican Party in the General Election for
Lt. Governor and Attorney General will be selected.
How it works:
· Convention delegates come from all over
Virginia. Each County Unit is allowed one delegate per 250 Republican votes in
the last General Election.
· Potential delegates file with their local County
Unit and a vote to accept them as delegates is taken at city and county mass
meetings.
· The unit chairman submits the delegates for
certification.
· Candidates will have a moment to speak before
the vote is taken.
· If there are more than two candidates, there may
be more than one ballot process to determine the Republican Candidate.
So, who is running and
